What we store
You can draw on the website without an account, and nothing you draw leaves your browser until you save it. When you create an account we store:
- Your email address and a password hash. Your email is your username. We never store the password itself, only a one-way hash.
- If you sign in with Google: your Google account's email address and its account ID, so the same Google account always opens the same HousePlanCraft account. We don't get your Google password, contacts or anything else, and an account made with Google has no password here.
- Your plans. The drawing of each plan you save, its name, and a small preview image.
- Signed-in devices. When you sign in on the app, we keep a hash of that device's sign-in token, the device name, and when it was last used, so you stay signed in and can be signed out.
What we use it for
Only to run the service: to sign you in and to show you your plans on the website and in the app. We don't sell your data, show ads, or share it with anyone, except a hosting provider that stores it on our behalf.
Donations
Buying us a coffee is optional. Payments are processed by Razorpay; your card, UPI or bank details go straight to them and never reach us. For each donation we keep the amount, Razorpay's order and payment IDs, the payment status, and the name, email and message you chose to add (all optional), so we can match receipts and answer questions about a payment.
Analytics
The website uses Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It also runs its own small usage counter: a random ID kept in your browser, the pages you open and how long you actively use them (for example, time spent in the plan editor or the 3D view), and, when you are signed in, which account that time belongs to. It stores no IP address, only the country your connection comes from, and it is never shared or used for advertising. We use it to see which tools help people and what to improve. The editor inside the app doesn't load analytics, and the app has no tracking or advertising SDKs.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and every plan in it at any time:
- In the app: Account → Delete account.
- On the website: Account → Delete account, or go straight to delete your account (sign-in needed).
Deletion is immediate and permanent: your email, plans, preview images and signed-in devices are removed from our database.
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS. Passwords and app sign-in tokens are stored only as hashes. Sign-in attempts are rate-limited.
Children
HousePlanCraft is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
